Well not a lot has been going on in my life as of late. Just a lot of decisions popping up that I need to decide on soon. My brother transferred to a college upstate that his girlfriend was going to and he instantly started bugging me to transfer up there with him. honestly, my grades are worse since i left tech to come to USC. at home, i had a job which took up alot of time, so i studied more to keep my grades up; my grades were higher for the most part.

now, i'm jobless so i have alot of free time. unfortunately, free time makes me lazy and i practically never study even though i have all the time in the world. i have no distractions yet my grades are lower.

i guess it's what they always told us when we were in marching band-- "you're grades will generally be higher in the fall while it's marching season, than the spring." for some, keeping busy makes them work harder....i guess i'm just one of those people. you may be the complete opposite

I love it up at USC. My grades are far better than they were in high school. But as Melissa said, everyone's different too. If your grades aren't as high as you want them to be, then maybe transferring isn't a bad idea. It's up to you. Mine went up, hers went down, but I did not transfer. Your situation is different than both of ours, so I guess all I can say is think about it and follow your heart. If you think so, take the risk. You'll never know unless you try, right? If you think it could be better for you, you might want to really consider it.
