Just a refresher
Hopefully this will work. I'm going to try to do a cut, with a reminder post that was originally set on the Hagrid/Snape livejournal community back in early September 2005 - 10 challenges for H&S stories. Is there a place?
Is there a place where barely-computer-literate people like me can go to learn how to do all the nifty things I see other people doing with their live journals? For example, I notice that nobody else posts the *entire* contents of a story to their message -- somehow, other people get these tidy little links to their stories ( Read more... ) -

Grieving....
Today has been a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. I'm not trying to diminish or make light in any way of what has gone on, but I really am grieving. James Doohan died today, and I feel as though I've just lost one of my oldest and dearest friends. Well, I was going to ask a question....
I had intended to post today with a question/concern. I joined a LiveJournal community, and didn't realize that what I posted here was going to show up there! I just wanted a LiveJournal to keep my thoughts in, to force myself to keep a daily diary, hopefully to get myself back into the writing process. I've had writer's block now for... sheesh... It's always something
Now, it's my freakin' car. We don't know what's wrong with it. The solenoid has just been replaced, my friend is going to look at the starter tomorrow and see if that's what's wrong... I guess the last thing to fix will be the alternator if that doesn't work. I'm just so disgusted, I can't stand it....
