Hockey player reporter & Elf Barbarian?

Two questions, if you won't mind me asking. On Friday around 2pm in the Walk of Fame, a man was walking around as a hockey player in a blue and white uniform and another dude was filming him. They filmed me interacting with they hockey player but I got bombarded by picture-takers and didn't see who they were. If anyone can tell me, I'd love it. I'd

I had a similar experience as well with a Hockey Player in the same colored uniform in the Hyatt that Friday. He saw that I was dressed as Mario and asked me to look the other way so that he could run up behind me, bump into me really hard, and run off while his friend filmed it. I'd love to know what exactly they were doing, but I never got a chance to talk to the guy. If anyone knows anything, I'd appreciate any information on it!
