I know most of this year's Trek guests have attended con before, so I figured someone could answer this for me. Do they typically allow photos at their tables, or are you forced to go through that Froggy gentleman that people seem to have so much trouble with? Darrell K. Sweet has passed away

It's my sad duty to report that legendary fantasy cover artist Darrell K. Sweet passed away this morning. He leaves behind a rich legacy of art gracing more book covers than I can count, a Hugo nomination and numerous other award nominations. The name of D*C's first announced guest for 2012 is now on their website. It's author R.A. Salvatore.

Also, the calendar for price increases for memberships is now up as well. The $70 rate is in effect until Nov. 15.
