There are also two fan-run MLP panels (Hey Brony, Nice Vids - Friday at 8.30pm in Dunwoody in the Hyatt, and MLP 101 - Sunday at 2.30pm in Dunwoody in the Hyatt). Of course all panel times are tentative until Tuesday Sept. 4th. =)

You might want to check out Canterlanta on Facebook (it's a group). They have info on all fan meetups in the Atlanta area (including the DragonCon ones), and I just posted these two panels there, too.

I saw the comment in question, and the commenter told her to "stop with the everypony nonsense." I'm not a fan of MLP at all, nor the brony movement, but yknow. You like what you like, and I'm not gonna stop you from liking it. (Nor holding parties, because everyone likes a good party, right?)

That person made me so mad. I had flagged their comments for spamming and trying to ruin it other fans. Btw, even if you are not a fan, please feel free to stop by for pizza and other things. We pony fans are pretty cool

That person may have been more than a bit rude, but flagging the comment as spam will do exactly nothing besides frustrate whatever over-worked anti-spam team LJ has as it's not actually spam. Best to either ignore it entirely, or delete and move on in the future.

two years ago we did a meetup and handed out small bags of MLP goodies to all the little ones that wanted pictures - I'm busy this year and it took me a long time to hunt down all the items I got but if anyone wants to do a meetup and midday next year and make some kid's day I'm in for doing it again

Sounds like fun. My party will be kid friendly for the most part. However, after 11:00, it will be more adult-friendly
