MMO Replaced With General Videogames Track?

I was browsing the con site and noticed under the bio for one of the last tracks added, Mike Capps, the president of Epic Games, says he's "co-directing the new Videogames track." When I eagerly tried to find info on this on the site, I didn't see it listed under fan tracks, but I did notice the MMO track is no longer there. Have these tracks been ( Read more... )

The MMORPG track is still around... http://www.dc-mmo.org

The video games track is a new track for this year. (although we are planning on running some panels jointly)

Oh... And we aren't listed under tracks because we are part of Gaming... If you look under gaming on the DragonCon website, you will see a link to the DC*MMO website.

Thanks for the info! I tried clicking the game track info and it just went to the main gaming site with no info yet for 2012. I did check the MMO site several days after posting this (took a week for it to be approved) and I saw that it looked like you were operating as normal. :) Glad to hear there's more gaming for all and hope to see a site for general videogames soon if there will be one!

Ah! I was wondering about that and also glad to see Dragon*con is bringing some more video game related content!

((Games are such a large portion of my life now and the lack of VG related panels was always the one thing that left me a little sad in the past))
