Marriott Parking Question

Oct 03, 2011 12:09

Hey!
We just reserved our room for the Marriott and I was curious about how they do their parking. We are in a group and some of our group will arrive earlier than the other. My question is, for one room has anyone had to have 2 cars to park and do they allow that?

Thanks!

parking info, marriott

They will take cars for anyone with a room until their garage fills up and their garage WILL fill up.

You pay for parking, per car, and per day. And as the other person said...it is limited til the garage fills up. I think its about $29 a day per car.

If the garage does fill up, keep in mind that there are several 5$/Day 6$/Day open air parking lots around the con. We used those last year and they were fine.

You can also park in the SunTrust deck next door. It was $15/day back in 2003 and I have no idea how much it costs now, probably comparable to parking at the hotel.

Looks like it's gone up (still cheaper than the hotel). The following page shows it at $20 a day:

yeah, i tried it last year; it was a dollar less than the hilton garage. i figured the extra $5 was worth it to me to have the car in the hotel so i could keep an eye on it.

Marriott is valet parking only at $28/a day. It is usually FULL by late afternoon/early evening on Thursday (at least for the past 2-3 years).
