Image Used On The Official Dragon*Con 2011 Tee Shirt

Sep 21, 2011 20:32

Is the image that was used on the Dragon*Con 2011 official tee shirt available online anywhere?

I can't find it anywhere including the artist's website.

Thanks,

Kevin

It is only available as the t-shirt.

Thanks for the quick reply.

That's too bad. I was looking for a Dragon*Con 2011 image/logo to use on some of my blog posts and podcasts about the con. I didn't see any 2011 banners or images posted on the website this year so I was just looking for something besides the generic Dragon*Con logo.

How about this request: would anyone who bought the t-shirt please take a photograph of it and post it online? Or link to a con picture you took of someone in the shirt already?

Completely agree.

I'm looking to use an image with proper credit given to help promote the con. :)

The con often makes available many great website banners and images available (http://publications.dragoncon.org/index.htm#Banners) so folks can help promote the con but there weren't any posted for 2011 so that's why I was looking for the tee shirt image or something specific to the 2011 con.

We will make banners available at some point. They just are not on the top of the list of things that have to get done right after the con.

Thanks for sharing that. I believe that design was from one of the tee shirt vendors but it wasn't the official one.

I took someone's brilliantly simple advice and just took a high quality photo of the tee shirt since I had on at home. :)

Appreciate all the feedback from everyone.

Ah OK. I just got it because I liked it. Didn't know whether it was official or not. Glad you found a solution. :)
