Post here for last minute hotel needs and transfers.

Allowing hotel room transfer needs here since dragonconrooms will be shutting down Thursday. Despite that, crosspost your hotel needs there as well.

Since the deadline for badge transfers has long passed no need to bother with posting any.

My would-be roomies have forsaken me, so I’ve got a room reserved at the Marriott Marquis and no one with whom to split the cost. I’d like to avoid that. :)

Room is reserved from September 1-5, checking in Thursday & checking out Monday. I would prefer people who will be there (and can split the cost) for the entire time, but I’m willing to share with those who will be arriving on Friday or Saturday, and I’m flexible about how many people I’d be sharing with.

[ For the record, I’m a 40-year-old male nonsmoker who’s been going to DragonCon for almost certainly too long. :) I don’t mind night owls so long as they can maintain noise discipline when other people are sleeping and don’t bring the party back to the room. ]

Room cost before split is about $220/day (including taxes).

I had to drop from the convention this year, so my space in a room in the Hyatt is up for grabs! Thursday through Monday and is a total of $200, and bed space may be negotiable. Current room occupants are males, non-smokers, not big partiers, using the room as a place to get some rest and store costuming stuff.

Room needs to be paid in full before spot is secured. You can pay via PayPal (preferred, guarantees your space immediately) or in cash at the hotel before you get your room key.

Total of $200 from Thursday until Monday, or $50/night if you need to arrive later/leave earlier.

I have a room at the Melia for $500 total (including taxes/fees) for 5 nights (check-in Thursday; check-out Tuesday), which comes out to only $100 per night. At this point, I'm willing to let it go for 2 or 3 nights only in order to get some of my money back ( ... )

My wife and I are looking to share our room at the Westin with one or two people thurs-monday or fri-monday. We have an extra bed (so sleeping on the floor is optional!) and plenty of floor space.
