Game of Thrones cosplayers?
Has everyone read George R. R. Martin's books, or maybe you're watching the miniseries that just premiered on HBO this week? Either way, a Game of Thrones is quickly becoming fairly "mainstream" as far as fantasy literature goes.
I'm just feeling around here to see if there are more people interested in making costumes from the series, or from the books, for D*Con 2011. There are some really phenomenal outfits in the show. While I haven't made up my mind yet, I know I'll be bringing at least one outfit from this series. Last year I ran into about half a dozen cosplayers. I hope there's a lot more this year!
And! All those House Banners lend themselves well to a great display of pageantry. I hope we can find enough fans to maybe think about walking in the parade with flags and banners? Even if you're not big into sewing, making a flag isn't too difficult at all.
