Another hotel bridge?

While at D*C this year, my hubby and I were speaking to a Hilton  HYATT hotel employee and he mentioned that he 'thought' that they were building a walkway between the HIlton HYATT and the Marriott.  The walkway would be through the "smoker's area", near the pool and would connect directly to the Marriott.  Anyone know if this is actually true?  It ( Read more... )

It already exists... from the main lobby take the escalator on the right and circle back. The hamster tube deposits you on the M(?) level of the Marriott

And I'm a few seconds behind the times. For some reason I think it ended on the I ("International") level (below the M/Marquis level) of the Marriott though. But since I really only went to the Hilton for the Walk of Fame, I could be wrong.

I'm not sure which level it was. It's not the bottom level where the dealers room was, and I can't remember if it was one or two above that. It definitely wasn't the Atrium level, though...

Little behind the times there. There is a walkway between the Hilton and the Marriott and was as of before D*C weekend this year.

Are you sure you don't mean between the Hyatt and the Marriott? There's ALREADY a bridge between the Hilton and the Marriott

There's also one between the Hyatt and Marriott already and has been since at least my first D*C in 2005, albeit it also goes through that food court. Apparently a direct tunnel between the two hotels (no food court in between) is being planned or so I heard.

It'd be awesome if it didn't require the use of lifts that seem to never work. (Many thanks again to those who've helped me with my chair on those steps, or been patient when I dragged myself up or down them with my cane!)

Hm ... I thought there was one already? Or am I confusing the Hyatt with the Hilton? But wasn't it called the Skybridge? And it was on ... LL? Or one floor below LL? I distinctly remember crossing a bridge this year that went into another hotel, and it was direct -- not through the food court.
