The Carpets of Dragon*Con

A friend and and I came up with this idea of photographing all the insane (and mostly insanely UGLY) carpeting in the host hotels. Really wished I'd gotten the Sheraton too, but we were only there Friday night, before we got the idea, so I missed it. Anyway, the gallery below -- clickie-clickie!

dang marriott carpet was hard...I'd slide down in shorts to sit on the floor and my legs would look like some cat had used em for a scratching post!

Yeah, I think hotel purposely pick the worst carpet. Who knows why, but they do.

Actually the more complicated the pattern and the more colors, the easier spills/stains blend in.

I think they do it in an effort to be modern and funky, but they really just fail. Whatever happened to classic, classy hotels?

Not much could stain that pattern.
