Thassright, I'm quoting myself in the title. It's time for more blathering about Supergirl!

Supergirl episode 50 airs at the end of this month. Fifty! That's over four years of this friggin' show! My name's not in the writer byline for all of it. The show became "starring and written by" with episode 16, so ep 50 will mark 35 episodes for me. ( Read more... )

At the risk of talking about, well, me, did you hit any doldrums? I'm struggling a bit 10 issues in. I'll get over it, I'm sure, but... yargh. I'm not sure whether I've just outlined something I didn't turn out to want to write, or whether I'm just, you know, tired and sore all the time and it's spilling onto the work.

Whereas your show rocks. I'm glad to have had my tiny part in writing it once. :)

Your tiny part in writing it once saved my butt. Who knows how late that episode woulda been otherwise ( ... )

I'd be tempted to just do something entirely else than I'd outlined, except I left the characters in a bit of a cliffhanger last episode so I kind of have to resolve that one way or another. Darn me and my cliffhangering!

You totes would get the part of Kara if it came up now!!! You rock her! :)

Really enjoying this season and adored your portrayal of future-verse Aunty K last year in TLAOK too!

I really enjoy the work you put into the character portrayal and the writting for this show. It seems like Earth-P's super women develope in a way, no pun intended, that makes them more "consistantly" enjoyable than their comic book counterparts.

Though I do wonder, with a wink, how Tally gets to live in the dorm with no real issues, but the dog needed special permission. You figured they would be treated equally since they both do not go to class and tend to make their own kind of mess.

I think you do all the crossovers as a penance for torturing poor Jeffery with Tally's voice work, especially the singing.

You've been kicking major ass, both writing and acting. Really enjoying Supergirl and where you've been writing her and her pals (and the villains are pretty awesome too :p). I think where the major appeal for your show is that you know how to write Kara, with her struggles and have her juggle everything and occasionally making mistakes. You make her real. Really looking forward to where you take her.
