I'm at 1040 words, which means that from here on in, I can just focus on telling the story without worrying about not making the minimum length. Helps that I'm doing a book canon and trying to imitate the author's style. I don't mean that I'm deliberately copying it, so much as falling naturally into it as I refamiliarize myself with the text. This ( Read more... )
