When I was a kid, I remember hearing about a job at Coke where they paid a person really well to do nothing but sit there and pull out a defective bottle every once in a while. As a kid I thought this was great, sit there and do almost nothing and get paid well. Now it sounds pretty boring to me.

I knew a guy in college who did that at the Budweiser plant up in Loveland. There is no way I could do that all day long. No way.

So, in general, I think the worst job is one in which you are unchallenged, unfulfilled, unmotivated and trapped by paychecks and realities of adult life.

Yup. That totally describes my professional life.

But, I know you are sick of hearing this, you have a job. Let this economic crisis pass, and then the future will hold lots more promise. My SIL and her BF have been out of work for a year. A full year. I can't comprehend. (Of course it helps if you actually get off your ass and look, but *grumblegrumblegrumble*)
