As far as I know, things where well within the Parliament minus a few minor discrepancies among the delegates. Nothing that would warrant the brazen action of terrorists attacking and killing government officials right under Ivona's nose.

I am not certain how this act came about but I am sure I can find more information about this matter once we reach Bellcius.
