So, I am no longer working in the Rice lab. instead, I moved 5 feet and went from working on human DNA to butterfly DNA. At least the butterflies don't scream when I grind them up (heh, lab humour). Marcus is kewl, I worked for him last summer ( Read more... )

You're at Western right? I am thinking about going there to get my pre-pharmacy degree then go to UK to finish it out. How is it there?

Meh, not horrible. Could actually be alot worse. Not exactly sure about the Pre-Pharm thing (chem program, ewww) but hey, people do it and do well, so it can't be all bad, right?

I'm wondering how long it'll take before you stuff certain eogtistical male coworker in a drawer somewhere, or start bringing headphones to tune out the inane chick chatter.

He doesn't bother me that badly. I guess I just take him in stride. And I can handle the inanities. It's nice just to hear people talking and enjoying what they do.
