For Percy

Cimorene has been out looking for Galahad, with not much success. She's barely ever talked to him, really, but she did tell Percy she would. However, it's starting to get dusk, and she doesn't trust Dinadan to look after him that long. So she comes back empty handed, sweaty from the heat and her nose a bit smudged. She's tired, and frustrated

Her husband is at this time out on the front steps, shucking corn into a bucket. He has gone and cut his own hair shorter in the meantime, so it's harder to tell the difference based on that, but he still has her bandage on his leg.

She comes up slow, but says, "I'll have to keep hunting for Galahad in the morning. It's getting dark."

"That's okay. Want ta help?"

"Sure." She sits, a few steps down from him, and reaches up for a few ears
