Supper (for Percy)

Cimorene returns a little later than she had intended, though not so late that she's missed supper. Her look is thoughtful, and uncharacteristically subdued. She has a basket, though the cloth originally over it she had left with Gaheris. Telling herself that there is no point in hesitating, she goes on in. "Percy?"

Percy is out irritating Mordred, and it's about ten minutes later he comes in, a little weary himself. "--'Lo!"

She looks up with a small smile. "Hi." She's been chopping the tops off the strawberries she brought with her. "I got us some dessert."

"Ooooh, where'd you get strawberries this time of year?"

"Mansion. They're not quite as good as the real thing, but almost."
