Thanks for your advice last time I asked about graphics issues in DA II post 1.02 patch. So I tried dropping down to DX 9, all other tips and tricks to keep the crashes from happening. Just now, during the Wolves Mission for Sr. Patriece, crashed to desktop again then total reboot again. No error message and nothing in WhoCrashed either ( Read more... )

Urgh, that would be really annoying. :/

One thing I forgot to ask (and probably should have) last post: do you have any mods installed? If so, which ones, and have you tried uninstalling the mods to see if the crashing behavior continues?

Oh sorry, should have mentioned that. I have no mods in DA II. I'm not sure what Gamma means in DA II but I have the slider at 1 usually.

The only thing I can suggest is dropping the Graphics level down to Medium to see if the crashes continue.

If they do, then I'd suggest contacting EA Support :/, unless someone more PC-savvy than I jumps in here. :)

Thanks, when I dropped down to DX 9 I was forced to bump graphics down to Medium, High and Highest was no longer an option.
