The whole McKeller justification was complete bollocks, also. Fortunately at least ten people pointed out that One beer after Trio --> Love confession in Shrine makes for WTFery. As well as people saying, hey, if you have a gay character, then say you have a gay character.

Thanks, I think? I just found it incredibly hard to believe that he was all defensive, telling us how the canon ships are Where It's At, but then he undermined one because he would rather have had Sheppard and Teyla hook up. Are you a writer or a fanboy, Malozzi?

Remember: No matter how bizarrely idiotic and clueless writers and creators are, once they've made these amazing characters, they can't take that away. They can't touch us here in fandom. *nods*

Thanks for posting this entry. I rely on people like you to keep me up to date with fandom because I only have net access at work.

I love the fannish response, which shows that even if the writers want to put forth a simplistic, narrow view of the show, the fans will find depth in the characters and in the 'verse.

Is it okay if I friend you to keep up with the meta?
