Lots of TV reactions

Oct 05, 2008 20:49

Oh GOD. My life EXPLODED. I wanted to do so much writing and I can't and I wanted to do so much reading and I've had no time and I kind of HATE being this busy. I sort of fell into bed Saturday night, then got up and watched like four straight hours of TV today, because I am FRIED.

A big fat new season TV roundup )

squee, life, tv: sga, tv: chuck, tv: spn, tv: dexter, tv: pushing daisies, ep reaction

Actually wow, yes! The YED can't bring people back, can he? Unless it was all a super-bog ploy to get Dean to sell his soul. He did say he knew he was keeping Dean alive for something, didn't he? But that's... Hmm, no, that's a plot hole that seriously needs addressing. :/

Yes! And not even a lie to Dean- in IMTOD, he tells John "I can't, but I know someone who can," and has to possess a Reaper to get Dean back! And Dean wasn't even properly dead yet. Now, they may well have been some kind of analogous back-scenes dealing going on here that the YED just didn't reveal to Mary, but you could drive a Pinto through that monster-powers-inconsistency.

I'm totally obsessed by Supernatural. It's so goooooood!! Actual emotions! Expressed by pretty men!! I didn't realize how little of this I was getting from SGA. I'm halfway through Season Two, which is kind of confusing because I'm watching Season Four at the same time, but at the rate I'm going, I'll soon be caught up. I love the way these demons keep letting all Dean's secrets out. How I would love to see that happen to John Sheppard.

Yes! The entire show is ALL ABOUT Dean's fucked-up psychology. Seriously, more or less every good episode is about just flaying him open to lay the incredible angst and vulnerability and damage and manpain bare on the surface. It's like catnip for slashers. I'm not sure there's ANY TV show that's given me this in such concentrated doses. I'm so glad you're enjoying!

I just got finished watching Playthings, and omg, drunk Sam with his hands and Dean pushing him off. I wish I had been in this fandom when the episode aired because I can just imagine what the fans made of that scene. I missed all the fun!

I know how you feel! I come to all the best fandoms late. But it's never too late to squee about it!

I am wildly amused by your runaway horse image. I COULD grab the reins, but I just don't have the willpower...

*wishes you luck with the clinging*
