Assorted tidbits as I return to fannishness

Freakishly enough, despite wasting five solid hours today on way too much driving and poor planning and people who don't keep appointments (grrr) I was able to knock out my whole to-do list by 7:00 and watch some TV.

Watch the first season of SG-1 and you get over the whole not-James-Spader thing. That was one of my two big issues for not watching the show in the beginning. The other was Macgyver with a gun but got over that one too.

And the Jack/Daniel cannot be denied.

I'm on episode five now, and I have to admit that Michael Shanks is growing on me (slowly. I am still in mourning for the James Spader incarnation.)

The Jack/Daniel is growing on me too, likewise VERY slowly. It helped that the whole "Skaara reminds him of his dead son" thing was made explicit in the text, and Sha're was gotten out of the way rapidly. That said, I need awhile longer before I'm on that wagon.

I love Sam Carter, I mourned Kowalski, the new Daniel is growing on me, I adore Richard Dean Anderson more than I can possibly say, and I am waiting on the edge of my seat for Teal'c to display a facial expression :)
