I have the best timing everrrrrr. Went to the library, had money in my wallet for once so I could pay my fines (which are terrifyingly huge, hence why I've been putting off going to the library at all) AND THEN it turned out that since I'm nineteen now I get updated to a grown-up card, instead of the terribly battered one I've had since I was six,

They waive your fines once you switch to a grown-up card? That's generous. My public library didn't do that.

And what were you doing with library fines anyway, hmmm?

I know, I had no idea they'd do that. And actually felt kinda bad about it because askjdlf those were my fault! I ought to pay for them! But if that's what they want to do I won't be stopping them.

And I had them because this was earlier in the year when I was too sad to get out of bed and return my stuff. And the fines on DVDs are pretty huge. :( I WON'T DO IT AGAIN, MISS, I PROMISE!

$12 of that was a DVD I forgot I had for a week or two. The others were old stuff that had accumulated. =(
