Oh look. The Nightlife EP is being released for TS3, renamed Late Night & flaunting basically all the same content as it's 2005 version. Probably not much different to the ts1 version, though I can't say I've ever played ts1 so I wont speculate ( Read more... )

They munged a lot of stuff from Hot Date into Nightlife and then again into some of the other EPs. The basegame hot tub from aspiration was from Hot Date IIRC, and the heart bed in Apartment Life was also from Hot Date. A few of the basegame clothes are very similar to those available from Hot Date too IIRC xD

I occasionally consider installing ts1.... Pete has it.... it's why he hates ts2 & ts3 - he remembers the addiction & the detox. But then I think about the lack of space on my pc, & the fact that ts1 didn't have the things that i love about 2 & 3 - the generation thing - so i shelve the idea.
Not that I've played sims at all in a while. [shifty eyes] Maybe I should load it today & attempt to ignore all the gnomes.....
