For his part, Minato doesn't really like writing on scrolls, so he has cut at least one scroll into sheets for better (at least in his eyes) organization. And when Hong Kong enters the library, Minato is already there, sitting at a table near the entrance and writing on a couple of these sheets, getting started on a list of his own. He has positioned himself so that he can watch the entrance out of the corner of his eye, and when he catches sight of Hong Kong coming in, Minato lifts an arm to give a wave.

"Hong Kong-san, over here," he calls softly, not wanting to irritate the librarian any further. And it still feels strange to call someone a country, but he'll get over it eventually, he's sure.

Hong Kong hears his name and looks up from his reading, sticking his wand in his back pocket so he can wave.

He walks over and has a seat across from Minato, setting his scroll down as he does. "Hey." On second thought, he turns the scroll around so it's facing his companion. "Sorry if I'm late. I added a few more this morning."

"You're not late." It's just breakfast is more of a time of day than a thing Minato actually eats, usually. He looks over the list and nods, recognizing a couple of the names, at least, even if he doesn't know all of them. "It's a good start, especially as apparently there is no list - or if there is, the librarian wouldn't tell me about it."

He then turns his own papers so that Hong Kong can read them. There are a few names listed, but Minato has only been here a few days and thus hasn't met many people yet, and besides, he's mostly been working on an organization system. He has a different labeled sheet for each house, and on each sheet is a column for name, year in school, age, home world (as he is mindful of how one of the very first people he met spoke as if there were possibly people from somewhere other than Earth), home country and date of origin. Also there is a little extra space for special notes. Basically, it's all the stats he could think of off the top of his head as being of use.

"Oh, thanks." Hong Kong's more the type to believe in several breakfasts. Just like he believes in several naps. He rests his chin in hand while Minato looks at the list. "So we're on our own then? Well, the school's not that big, really. I mean, it's a few hundred people, but that's way less than, like, eight million or something."

"You've got a lotta information there. Maybe I should fix my list to show that too." He looks back and for between the lists. "I don't know all of that stuff though, actually. I can only give you details about the other countries."
