Lelouch, on the other hand, makes Snape pause for longer. His precision of laying out the equipment and ordering the ingredients is eye-catching, not to mention something that Snape approves of quite a bit. This student had the organizational skills of a Potions Master, at least. Though that frown...]
Is something wrong, Mr. Lelouch?

She is still flipping through her text book when the professor enters, and she closes her book and listens to him with rapt attention. Which is a lot harder when Professor Snape carries such an intimidating aura around him. Even the entire classroom suddenly feel a lot more daunting and pressing than it seem. Why had she chosen to sit in front?!]

[Snape's voice is quiet, yet that doesn't mean it's not demanding.]
Give me the ingredients needed for the Shrinking Solution.
{OOC: Anything in particular you wanted to play out?}

[Instantly sitting up straighter and snapping her gaze up toward Prof. Snape. The Shrinking Solution? Liechtenstein had read about it not too long ago, so the memories are still fresh in her mind.]
It requires daisy roots--chopped into equal sizes; skinned shrivelfig; sliced caterpillars-- [She swallows the discomfort of the remaining ingredients.] --one rat spleen; and a dash of leech juice.
[Should she elaborate more? Not unless the professors asks her.]
[ooc: Anything is fine~ Perhaps her not getting the right colour for the potion, even if she got the ingredients right. OTL]

{OOC: Okay! He'll probably also see if he can trip her up or something.}

When Professor Snape enters the room, Rose stiffens. He seems exactly as described: like a nasty man in a career he hates. Unless he enjoys intimidating his students and looking miserable. Still, she copies the notes, keeps her mouth closed, and widens her eyes appropriately when he pauses after mentioning the potion capable of stopping death. Beyond that, Rose attempts to be as invisible as possible.]

Miss DeWitt Bukater, what has happened if your Shrinking Solution is orange?

Like Terezi, Tavros wasn't willing to give up his shirt in favour of the robes required for class. He's found a compromise by slipping on his black tee-shirt with its brown Taurus sign on over top of everything else. It looks absolutely stupid, but he can't just not wear it. That's crazy!]

{OOC: So... How many points do you want him to lose in total?}

Ummm. This is because of the shirt, isn't it?
[He looks down at it, and then back up at the professor. Oh god. The last thing he wanted to do was get noticed by this professor.]

Some of the instructions struck him as a bit strange, he didn't really see how stirring something clockwise vs counter-clockwise would make a difference, but he wouldn't question it. He could follow instructions like a well-trained monkey. Though he figured Lelouch is probably loving this class. He just had to put aside all distractions and do the work.
His measuring for everything was accurate, though with some slight errors. A bit too big of a pinch of this here, not quite enough of a dash of that there, perhaps stirring just a touch too quickly. Nothing egregious; all things that, to the casual observer, would appear to be on point. But to the rather discerning and discriminating eye of Severus Snape?]

Tell me, Mr. Kururugi, what color is your potion supposed to be?

[He looked perplexed at the potion, then back at the listed instructions. He was sure that he had the right amounts of minced daisy roots, peeled Shrivelfig, sliced caterpillars, rat spleen...]
Did I add too much leech juice? [It said a dash, but he did give it a good shake when he had added it.]
