He just grins like a fool, a several feet away so that he's not in striking distance. He's in a ready stance to start running but before he does, obviously he has to make her even angrier.

"Blue's a good color on you, Aoko!"

Conan had been out at the tryouts watching Ran. The ague similarity to soccer in the rules aside, he couldn't really get enthusiastic about such a ridiculous looking sport. But it was good to see Ran enjoying something here. He was just smiling softly to himself at the memory of her smile when he is nearly run over by a certain running magician.

"Conan-kun!" Ran was also looking over the try-out results, her eyes bright when she saw that she had gotten the position she was most hoping for. She waved an arm in the air and started running towards the little boy, her smile spreading to the other features of her face.

"I got it! I got Kee--" She was quickly cut-off by the angry screeching of a familiar voice, to which she stopped and looked in the sound's direction. "Aoko-chan..?" She lowered her arm and saw her fellow Hufflepuff chasing after Kaito-san.

Kaito is fast. Really fast and quickly putting a good distance between himself and Aoko. However, there are two people in his way and this is not going to end well if he doesn't something to avoid colliding with the other two.

He speeds up just enough so that he can easily jump over the shrunken detective and steering clear out of Ran's path as much as possible. Just gotta get inside or somewhere he can scale the ceiling.
