If you start a band, I will provide vocals (backing or otherwise) and learn to play bass. Having a bad right wrist ruled out the drums for me, which is sad, and I refuse to play the tambourine.
I sing a lot. I'll have music playing at the computer and sing myself hoarse. I've taken trips to Richmond that had me barely able to speak at the end. I'll sing in the shower, car, anywhere. I walked down the hallway in my freshman dorm, singing to myself (and got complimented on it by a female). Growing up, I was in the chorus in elementary school and sang in church in the choir there. When I moved down here, I gave up on any organized form of singing. Thinking about it now, I wish I hadn't because singing is something that makes me happy.
Me and Brad heard you singing in the kitchen when you were making lasagne ^_~ !! haha. You know...i never found playing guitar as satisfying as the piano...but then I never really took guitar seriously. I think if you want to get good at it, take some lessons...they always up the motivation factor. Plus i'll have you know that playing in front of large audiences isn't actually as hard as it sounds....its very easy to ignore them all and just get absorbed by playing the music. Unless its singing too....then i have absolutely no idea how hard it is. lol.
