Pherocious Pheromones (other suggestions for a title are welcome)

Val's long overdue KKM fic that I promised her something like three years ago to encourage her to study. Loosely set after "For Love of a Plushie". I still haven't watched the rest of KKM, it's on my to-do list though. Standard disclaimers, etc, apply.

Ohh, it was such a great story. The characterization of Wolfram's and Conrad's behavior in such a situation was on the dot! And it was great to see predatory Yuuri (and the really funny back-story about his obliviousness). This pairing - Conrad/Yuuri - is beautifully portrayed by You.The more I watch KKM, the more I see the connection between Conrad and Yuuri and You have shown it moved to the next level. It was also wonderful, that You have made Wolfram to resign this engagement by himself. So many authors do it by some really OOC betrayal and going behind the back by Conrad and Yuuri, which I completely can not see as anything else but gross OOC-ness. Your method of dissolving this engagement is totally believable - I can see Wolfram reacting like that, when it gets obvious that he is the prey not the predator. And the wonderfully calm but lustful Conrad made me shiver with excitement. If only there was a sex scene in this story! But, then I could have ended as a melted puddle on the floor ;-). Thank You for this story very much! I ( ... )

Thank you.
I have to say I don't read a lot of KKM fanfics myself and so have never really encountered the kind out of character writing you're talking about. I can't see it happening though. Conrad is the soul of honour. Even when he was betraying Yuuri, he really wasn't. Not to mention that, as far as I've seen, even though Yuuri's never promised Wolfram anything and didn't want the engagement (although I expect that changed as the series went on) he never tried to hurt Wolfram either. So, yeah, I wouldn't be able to write a betrayal fic.
As for a lustful Conrad, I have to admit to toning him down from the original version. I'm glad you like. I hope I can keep your interest in the future.
