OH HANG ON I just had a Life On Mars fic idea where it turns out that it really is all a coma delusion except that Annie is real and then Sam wakes up and Annie is stuck in a netherworld of empty streets devoid of people and the fic would be called Mercy Street and right, I'm going to bed now before my brain can do any more damage.

I watched the first half of the first episode and then decided that it was too boring to continue. Was this a mistake, and should I go re-download it?

Well, I enjoyed it immensely, though the first part of the first ep is kinda slow. (Then again, the first part of the first ep has little to do with anything except to go "Hey, this guy is a DCI in 2006.") It devolves into the Crazy soon enough, and spends the rest of the series living in the suburbs. Of the Crazy. So, take from that what you will.

Just out of curiosity, do you have a single fandom you haven't thrown at Silent Hill? By which I mean that this actually sounds pretty awesome! Even though I have no idea why Annie would be in a netherworld of streets devoid of people.

Also, your 'dreaming' icon is surprisingly appropriate for this fandom.

Er. I don't think I launched S:AaB at it? Though I recycled several of the themes... and I never actually wrote that SG-1 one, though I did have one where Jack is locked inside his own subconscious as it tries to kill him, and... no, I suspect not. I even cross over real life with Silent Hill. Suppose that's a comment on me?

Really, this idea is more a product of listening to music late at night after watcing LoM ep8 (asdfghjkl Poor Sam! So obsessed and so tormented! Holding his Dad at gunpoint to make him stay with his family! And then all is forgiven with Gene in, like, ten seconds after he gets away. (I want to make a long, confusing post about how Gene in s1ep08 is like House in s3ep03, but I really should be doing my Russian homework and then going to class.) And then, of course, "Pub." "Pub." "Pub." "... ... ... ... ... ... ...pub."), and immediately afterward this conversation took place:
