Hi all,

So, OK, I slept a lot and, in truth was all set to do some writing until the mail came. And the new Hamilton book was delivered. And yeah, day was shot after that. Or rather it wasn’t but my eyes are now because I’ve been reading non-stop.

Hi, my friend Liz (Bittersuite_24) said that I should prolly check out your LJ since I'm a fan of vampire smut, too. She also told me you have a book coming out (way cool, btw), and that you'd prolly be a good contact to have since I'm planning on writing my own trashy vampire novels...(of course not meaning to imply your novel will be trashy or anything...man, this is why I'm bad at voicemails..)

Anyway, I liked The Harlequin okay. It was way way way way better than her last couple of books, which were all sex and no plot. I used to like the sexiness of Hamilton's novels, but honestly, it's out of hand. I don't think this book particularly redeems Hamilton's writing, but it's definitely a step in the right direction. What I enjoyed most was Anita's interaction with Ed's stepson (Peter?). It seemed to bring back the compassion that Anita has mostly lost among all the sex and power grabs.

Thanks for the good wishes. I think I'd classify my work as sexy paranormal.

good luck with your work!

PS--It was nice to see Peter but I do hope he does not become Blake's lover. That would be too Odd IMO.

RE: PS: Oh, god, I want that image out of my head right now. If that happens I'm just done. Done.
