With Hillary Clinton becoming Secretary of State, the NY governor has chosen Kristen Gillibrand as her replacement. Gillibrand has received endorsements from both the NRA and ACLU. Hooray for a politician who supports the entirety of the Bill of Rights, including the Second Amendment.

Interesting that both CNN and the NYTimes article mentioned in Armsandthelaw, listed Randi as the next-to-last contender. She pretty much nixed the idea in-house, as soon as her name was mentioned. Besides being Prez of the UFT, she got elected to lead the national AFT last July.
