My trick is that I'm crazy and that after guessing the ones I was pretty sure about, I spent almost an entire day on a spreadsheet with author names/fic names. For each fic I first crossed off people who had commented/left kudos on it, then I checked out everyone's writing and tried to deduce who had written what. I felt like the worst stalker on earth, and then when I got too tired, I just guessed at random.

Let me tell you that I dreamt of a lot of random lj usernames that night...
