Hi there, I saw you post it to bottom-draco, too. No offense, but I'm a bit confused how it will show up at two totally different orientation communities at the same time. :|
Oh, sorry, but I thought it was stated in the rules that switching is OK as long as it has a warning? There's no actual sex scene at all in the fic, but switching is mentioned in only 2 lines. So yeah, Draco both tops and bottoms in the fic, but it all happens in, uhm, behind the scenes if you get what I mean. I tagged the post and gave warning accordingly, though. Do let me know if I somewhat misunderstood the rules, I'm new to the fandom, hence never posted in any H/D communities at all before this fic.
"Fics in which the boys switch are fine as long as the story is predominately top!Draco. " My point is, if you post this fic to bottom-draco as well, it's very likely not a predominately top!Draco fic, right? Because bottom-draco also has a rule stating that “We welcome fanworks that have Draco "Switching" (alternating between Topping/Bottoming) as well - so as long as they predominantly feature Draco as the "Bottom".” So if it's a 50/50, maybe it's not that "proper" (sorry I'm out of words) to post it to both communities at the same time? Still, it's just my little thought. Welcome to this wonderful fandom and thank you for posting your fic here. :)
Ah, I see. I just thought when the switching wasn't even described and only mentioned then it was fine (I read a couple of stories from the fest-save list tags that were quite like that, as in co-dominance, and few of them were saved in bottom_draco list too, if my memory serves me right (but I'd better not depend on my memory too much...). But yeah, hence, the conclusion).
Anyway, I have a question, though. bottom_draco isn't an exclusively H/D community, right? So if, say, there's a story in which Draco gets to bottom for another guy (maybe Blaise or whoever it is) repeatedly, before he tops Harry also repeatedly, that'll make it eligible for both communities, won't it? Since this one is exclusively H/D, so the story is predominately Draco topping Harry (Harry doesn't top Draco at all)? Sorry if it's confusing, I just want to be clear just in case I write something like that in the future. :)
Thank you, this is a wonderful fandom, I just wish I joined sooner. ^^
