This was so enjoyable! Draco's rambling dialogue and his pithy comments regarding Harry. His indignation regarding the lack of help for Harry. The whole thing is just lovely.

I agree with awickedmemory your writing style very intriguing. And the style did convey very well the rambling of thoughts and disjointedness of the conversation - ie they were talking next to each other and not really at each other. But I have to admit that after reading this I'm still not entirely sure what exactly is going beyond the broad plotlines of the story. But unlike some other stories where the author's style confused me and I just gave up, your fic as made me want to read it again. I don't have time right now to give it the attention it needs and definitely deserves (Horrible MA thesis!!!), but once I do I'm definitely coming back to re-read!!!

Well, I'm glad to hear it, actually:) It is meant to be confusing, because I was going for the feel of being 'in his head' for our dear Draco. It's basically him altering his view of Harry and Harry also doing same, after a bit of kerfuffle with Harry not feeling well, and then each taking a new, fresh look at one another...and discovering that all those sparks may have meant far more than either ever suspected. Boy meets boy; they snog, essentially.

I rather think...they have to snog their way to freedom. Or Headmistress will come along and release them at dinner time. You know?
