I'm pretty sure you've conditioned me over these past few years: I read the 1st fic and went - oh, Sunny lives, that's great for them. Sweetness!

Then I read the 2nd one and I'm all, "yes, angst! rape! torture! slavery! Give me more!! I need more of the dark things!

... I'm not complaining ;)

well done on both pieces! Particularly like the optic change in the first.

Heh heh heh.

There are lots more of the dark things coming. I have one whole commission that's about half the size of War Without End already that's full of darkness before it gets pretty again. :D

And thank you! This particular Sunstreaker is eager to distance himself from Sideswipe, though I might write a short little follow up piece where Sideswipe gets to see his resurrected brother and be surprised because Sunny has no interest in reconciling... I was so tempted to make this little resurrection canon, too but... nah. I stuck with my original plot instead. No matter how much it breaks my heart.
