Thank you for the encouragement and kind words!  I read each and every word you all wrote and the out pouring of support reminded me why I started to write a year ago, and why I have stayed on with lj and ij.  You have reminded me of the process, a process we all are on together ... just at varying

I will remind the two of you that I actually WROTE a Snarry once. And I still have it on my list of sequels to do ... but neither of you will appreciate where that goes. Nyah!

Oh, and I don't use the same beta for everything (actually, I only use betas for exchanges). I just know some do.

I'm glad you sound like you're in a better frame of mind about your writing today. *\o/* Yay for a supportive f-list!

Along the lines of improving ... I'm planning to open myself up to some serious criticism in the near future (new year). I am woefully inadequate at descriptive writing, and could really use pointers/help. So ... I'm going to write some short fics/passages that I will ask people to critique. I had some people at Prophecy agree to rip my work to shreds for me to help me out, so we'll see how that goes. I'm rather hoping not to be left in tears, but nothing ventured ...
