Thanks so much ... and yes, this is really my first fanfic. In fact, I have only been part of (read "lurking in") fandom for a few months. But I am a HUGE fan of HP, so I suppose that helps. Besides, I have become quite the H/D shipper. I denied it for quite a while (denial is one of my nearest and dearest friends), but I have decided to accept the inevitable and embrace that part of myself. Besides, it keeps the creative juices flowing.

I love to write (fiction and some poetry), and am currently working on (almost done) a novel. So it's not the first work of fiction I've ever written ... but it is the first fanfic.

Funny, but it FEELS like I've been writing them for a while, because they are so easy to fall for! The fandom (most especially the H/D ship) had lulled me in with the amazing stories I've read. In fact, I had never even READ a fanfic before a few months ago. I didn't even like Draco much ... I mean, wtf is that about?!?

*shakes head to rid it of unwanted thoughts*
