Thank you elektra30 for using my watercolour as promt - I LOVED that story, it was so very cute and I also loved the way the reader had to wait until they knew who was the child's mother. :D (I fortunately hadn't payed attention to the pairing in the header.)

Your fic was first on my list (you went with daisies then ^^) and, oh my! It's so good! I loved how you followed Draco's train of thoughts and the mimicking of children-talk was superb. The bit about his parents was truly and deeply moving, I felt for him.

To sum it up, great job! :)

Hi! Thank you so much for reading, and I'm glad you liked it! It was the watercolour that was inspiring, I'm sure you'll agree :D I haven't got to read yours 'cos for some reason the fic links aren't working for me, but maybe they're doing a bit of maintenance, so I'll wait a while.

It JUST occurred to me that 'cos you used asters, that asters = Asteria. HOW SLOW AM I. Okay now I can't wait to read your fic! :p

Today the links aren't working for me either. Odd.

It JUST occurred to me that 'cos you used asters, that asters = Asteria.

Ahah! For how I had first conceived the story, those daisies being asters was vital, but I worked around that as you probably saw by now. :) You know what? I'm going to friend you now! :D

Those flowers were indeed Echinacea Purpurea, also called Sundown, that belong to the Asters and they were by no means daisies, that are much shorter and smaller and usually white to slight pink. ;)

leochi - Your watercolor is absolutely beautiful! I love all the colors and the expressions on the faces of father and son. Lovely!

elktra30 - Your story was very sweet, but had a touch of sadness in it. The memory of Draco falling down in his father's study, wishing he had had someone willing to open their arms for him made me want to hug him. I know he'll make sure his Scorpius knows he's got someone. And Scorpius was adorable. I love this line:

as the child spread out his chubby arms in a bid to illustrate how expansive his love for bees could be.

Great job to you both! :)

leochi I love your watercolour! The colours are amazing and you created such a marvelous atmosphere. I can almost hear the birds chirping and feel the heat of the sun!

elktra30 Your story complemented the art wonderfully! I loved your beautiful imagery and the snipets of the past that slowly help us piece together the backstory. Draco and Scorpius's interactions were beautifully rendered with such tenderness and feeling. I am a total sucker for lovingfather!Draco, son!Scorpius stories!

This was really lovely. I particularly liked the part where Scorpius asked which was his star, it really rang true.
