It's over?! How can it be over? I could keep reading this forever. Here's my utterly inarticulate rec. It at least comes close to saying how much I enjoyed this story. You are incredibly talented. I can't wait to read other things you've written. Thank you so much for writing this and sharing it with us. We are not worthy :D

Utterly lovely. My god, I haven't the words to convey how much I loved the way you painted Draco in this. The sheer level and aptness of detail alone in this is astonishing, to say nothing of how you incorporated the Manor and the Malfoy's sense of history so effortlessly into Draco's character and destiny. I thoroughly enjoyed every second of this masterpiece.

Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it. The Manor was a great deal of fun to write; I"m pleased to hear it came off well, creepy old house that it is. :)

This is the most perfect and most canon characterization of Draco I've read since the actual HP books. And not just him, but every single character felt so true to canon. Voldemort and his hints at his resentment of his own mother, Narcissa's silent and sometimes not so silent worries of Draco, the different sides of Snape when he is in spy mode and when he tries to help Draco. If I had to choose my two favourite scenes, one would be Draco throwing a hissy fit at the table (it rang so true) and the other would be his last conversation with his father, Lucius saying at last that he is proud of him and when Draco still insists on staying Lucius getting angly. I feel like a know better not only Draco but the whole Malfoy family, their history ( ... )

Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it. (Especially Draco's hissy fit, because ... I must admit, I really do love him as a spoiled brat, and I know not everyone agrees. <3) I'm pleased to hear the history came through well - I had a lot of fun playing with the Malfoy family's past and present. :) Thanks again!
