Dear Blurry Eyes:

About the blurry eyes: the first and only time I pulled an all-nighter, I was dizzy all day, and my eyes wouldn't always focus right. So it may be sleep deprivation. Contacts make that sort of thing worse.

About the hormones: Just remember that it isn't really you having these feelings. It is the dark, destructive monster Estrogenus Tyrannis. Subdue it! Subdue it!

Dude...I hate this. I can FEEL when I'm not myself. You know, it really feels like being drunk, accept in a bad way because I can control how much alcohol I intake. With hormones I just feel like I'm emoting everywhere.

Danielle and I do the same thing. We randomly take stuff personally that would, under normal circumstances, NEVER get to us. Like, if someone says something that is meant as a joke, a week ago we would laugh but suddenly, we burst into tears.

I've already randomly cried today. Its ridiculous.

Do you take calcium supplements? I kid you not, they help with PMS. If you take 1200 mg of calcium a day, it really helps with the moodiness, the cramps, all of that. I've been doing it since high school, and I can definitely tell a difference in the severity of my PMS during months when I've missed my calcium for a while (ran out, traveling, whatever). They're huge pills but you get used to them and they are totally worth it.
