Ok... So yeah, need to go to bed so I won't leave a detailed comment until tomorrow when I have time to tell you just how friggin' AWESOME this was, but do know that this pairing has officially taken over my brain!
I have no idea why but they are all that I can think of, both real person and in character!
Uh oh...brain eating pairings! Last time that happened...well, we're almost a year later and up to 100k ish words... LOL.
I'm thinking, Wormhole Extreme follow-up fic? Because doesn't this now add a whole new dimension to that fact that Martin forgot Jack?! *g* I'll work on it...
I watched PoNR last night, after I'd written and posted this (probably should've watched it before! Lol!) and it's changed the whole episode and story-arc for me now! Hehe!
Okay, so finally I have time to leave a proper comment/review!
What's not to like about some good old hurt/comfort? Nothing but here are some of my favorite bits.
“Don’t,” he hisses, immensely thankful to the snippy Gou’ld who demanded no cameras in the VIP rooms. They’ve never put them back in. ... “Not here,” he says, his voice sounding rough and strangled. Love the off-hand reference to another episode, feels so much more real when authors do this, like an actual bit of episode. Also, I love how control, an yet not, Jack is in this scene. He's really conscious of Marty's vulnerability, though he really does want him.
Jack’s checking for something else entirely; a second route out of the place, scanning the parking lot for the fourth time for anything suspicious before closing the curtains, making sure he feels comfortable doing this here before they actually go ahead with it. I love paranoid!Jack! He's a favorite of mine.
He ends up sprawled on his back on one of the beds, pants around his knees, shirt pushed up out of the

This is not a pairing I would ever have thought of, and if i had thought of I would have said it wouldn't work, and yet...it somehow kind of does. The mind, it boggles.
What inspired you to write this pairing? I know that RDA got along so well with the actor that Marty was brought back - did you spot that chemistry? Or was it something else entirely?
It was actually the Blooper of RDA and Wille Garson from Wormhole Xtreme. Lol. This one They have great chemistry together in the show and also, it seems, on the set. :)
After a conversation with chozen_rogue about it, I wrote RDA/Willie Garson RPS (!!) and then she nudged me to writing Jack/Marty. :) There's also a Wormhole Xtreme sequel on my LJ that I posted a few days ago. :D

And I was actually thinking that Wormhole Extreme and 200 definitely need some follow-ups or something.
