Feral parakeets and parrots will be escaped pets, or exotics that were dumped/released by inconsiderate owners who couldn't take care of them. Or their descendents. It's amazing how successful they can be at surviving and breeding on their own! There's a flock of Peruvian parakeets in Seward Park in Seattle.

Yeah we thought they'd probably escaped from somewhere. I know Britain is apparently getting warmer, but it's not that warm yet! Lol.
