Pansy's jaw dropped so far, Draco was surprised it didn't hit the ground. He tensed, having no desire to suffer his friend's wrath. Pansy, however, shocked him by cackling with laughter.
"Hah!" she crowed. "I knew it! I need to tell Granger that our plot was a smashing success!" She dashed away, leaving Draco and Harry alone in a crowd of students. The others edged around them, some staring openly and others whispering to their mates. Draco sighed. He'd known this wouldn't be easy.
Harry took his hand and squeezed it. "Ready?" he asked. "The wonders of Hogsmeade await us!"
