Oh, this just breaks my heart to see this sweet, precocious and caring boy taking extra care to write his father and let him know how much he loves him and his gift, the most... I can't even begin to imagine what wistful and loving thoughts must have crossed in Harry's mind when he picked that Firebolt broom for his son that he couldn't have claimed as his own and also how Draco must have felt when he saw it and also the letter from his son. Thank you so much for sharing this poignant scene and I'm glad to hear this springs from your own wonderful experience of having such a loving child. Please, please do let us see when Draco and Harry finally get their happy ending and that Scorpius also gets to see how precious he is in both his fathers' eyes. Thank you again!!
