I love this one, so descriptive and cheery. You made up that legend, eh? You ought to try writing it out as an original story. =)

The legend as an original story? Hmm, now there's a thought.

I'll think about it, though I suppose that I'll end up borrowing heavily from Greek and Roman myth. The whole "chariot of the Sun" idea sounds too much like something I've read in Bulfinch's Mythology.
