After reading the files on the woman known only as Jane Doe, Audrey was optimistic. Nervous and a bit overwhelmed, but optimistic nonetheless. She already had several ideas about the woman's treatment and felt that the girl deserved a chance at a normal life. Or as normal as you could get when sentenced to life in prison. A white-haired gentleman, well-bred though he'd seen better days, escorted the unrestrained young woman into the interview room.

"Dr. Westfield," he said, offering his hand. "I'm Dr. Jeremiah Arkham. It's a pleasure to meet you. I've been personally overseeing Jane's care." He still felt it was dicey, letting Jane meet the doctor without any restraints, but... She hadn't displayed any of the warning signs, and he'd made sure she'd been frisked by a female guard. She couldn't harm Dr. Westfield, and there was a guard present if she tried.

"Dr. Arkham," Audrey smiled as she shook the man's hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you." She glanced over at Jane, her face friendly. "Hello, Jane. I'm Dr. Westfield. It's nice to meet you."

Jane sat down where she was supposed to, silent for now, but she watched the woman carefully.

"Now, Jane, I want you to behave for Dr. Westfield and answer her questions." Dr. Arkham looked at her carefully then added, figuring it couldn't hurt. "Mr. Dent asked her to come."

"He's concerned for you," Audrey said softly. "Even after winning the election, he remembered, and he talked to me about you." She didn't mention Cash yet, only waited for Arkham to leave.
