Needed: One pub, inner-west, good food (on a Sunday), not too insanely busy, as kid (toddler and baby) friendly as possible.
Suggestions?

I'd say the Barley or the Botany View.
You could also try the Park View (Mitchell opposite the oval). There is no way there will be kids there.
The Union has gone down hill since the bistro changed hands.

When you say no way there will be kids, do you mean it's not kid friendly or kids will be able to run around without other kids?

It's not kid friendly.
The past few times I have been there I have seen no kids, where as the other pubs there is pretty much always kids.
I could be wrong, but the half dozen times I have been there for lunch/dinner has been kid free.

I second the botany view.
Excellent food and there are kids allowed.
Stay away from the Union. The food is horrible there now.

I like the duck and swan in chippendale - nice food, and very kid friendly. Not too busy
