Or, Threading the Tornadic NeedleIt's been nearly two weeks since my last post. A very busy, interesting and at times dangerous interval of time for the doctor. During Easter weekend, I was a guard at FrolicCon - where I participated in a fair amount of lecherous debauchery (including the appearance of the Flogging Friar..) during my off hours.

I imagine a significant overlap between sky nuts and storm nuts. Despite the danger, it was probably pretty cool, nonetheless.

I had to give my talk on Observing Galaxies with the help of a small gasoline generator. :-)

There's a fun pun along the lines of "now the Doc is cookin' with gas" in here somewhere, but I'm not connecting the dots properly.
